Itinerary
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and begin your drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You will have a stopover at the equator for a chance to take photos and learn about the unique geographical location.
Upon arrival at the park, check into your lodge and enjoy some lunch.
In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, lions, buffaloes, and a variety of antelopes.
As the sun sets, head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Rise early and enjoy a delicious breakfast at your lodge.
Set off for another exciting game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Look out for elusive predators such as lions and leopards, as well as grazing herbivores like zebras and giraffes.
Return to your lodge for lunch and a chance to relax.
In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lakes George and Edward. This waterway is home to a large population of hippos and crocodiles, and you might also see elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of birds.
Enjoy dinner and another overnight stay at your lodge.
After breakfast, head to Kyambura Gorge, a lush rainforest that is home to a chimpanzee community.
With the help of a park ranger, trek through the forest in search of these fascinating primates. Observe their social behavior and be amazed by their intelligence.
In the afternoon, transfer to the Ishasha sector of the park, famous for its tree-climbing lions.
